What blew my mind was the $40 for 2 old mason jars and some odds and ends. Yeah, it is prettier than the pop bottle cut in half.

LOL, I saw that too. You can assemble the pieces and parts for a few dollars and have enough to make 6 that price

I know the price of canning jars have gone up a lot, but that price is crazy. Buy a small pack of net pots, a six pack of jars or even recycle pickle jars or some other large jar. You can get glass paint at the hardware store or probably even Wal Mart. If your using recylced jars you could have a lot of jars in any color you like for way less.
