    haha great idea here! My father was a little rough around the edges but if I ever left a door (house or fridge) open he would say "the door isnt an Ahole its not going to close itself"

    I love all these comments. Brings back a lot of memories and some of them are new to me but could be quite useful.

    Someone said something yesterday that reminded me of this one....

    Others I remembered

    You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.

    Slicker than s_ _ t. typically used when something worked well. Usually around our area it was some machine or equipment that did a great job. Such as my new chicken plucker.
