Jimerson, what a change!

@Jimerson (our talented tech wizard!) I really like the picture behind the intro. It is a beautiful addition to the forum and gives a more welcoming and perky feel to the forum. Its perfect!
It will take a bit of exploration and such to figure out my way around the new look & possible way of doing things as a mod, but it looks like a positive change.
Hopefully that big job is now complete and you can move on to other great things.
Thanks!

Thank you, I appreciate that! I tried not to change the overall layout too much, hoping no one gets lost. :D There are a few more small surprises to be added over the following weeks!

@Jimerson You know I'll be watching. I've got the mods exploring already. 😉

Looks great! Thanks for your hard work.

Thanks for the new look and all that work.
I have been exploring and learning my way around.

@Jimerson Hmm..I don't know if this is in the works or even possible, but if it is, is there some way to make the discussion titles a bit more distinct (maybe colored) from the rest of the preview, etc. beneath? I find that even though the titles are bold, it almost seems as though everything blends together being so close to the same size.
Edit to follow up a bit more...some titles are in bold while others are not. Just something that I've noticed. And, as @MaryRowe states below, the tags are great (I really like them visible), but they are distracting. I tend to see them before the title.
I access the forum through my phone. It might be very different on a laptop.

@LaurieLovesLearning I second that--I think that is what most threw me off when I first saw the new page. Though being a techno-incompetent, any technology-related change scares me and sets me growling. Having the tags all listed in nearly the same size does give the entries a cluttered look, seems distracting to these aging eyes.
But that new header does indeed give the site a fresh, welcoming look, and after I explored a bit, it looks likes most things aren't really too different, or at least they're easy to figure out. It is nice to have the beginning of the post visible with the title too, for times when the title is not clear, or when you are going back trying to remember which post was which.
I'm sure after I get used to the changes (just takes a while for old luddites...) I will appreciate the new features. Anyway, this all must have been a lot of work, so thank you @Jimerson for your ongoing efforts!

@Jimerson I like the changes. Especially that we can edit our posts!
This list of “week leaders” always visible is for motivating, isn’t it 😊? It is interesting. How do we get points? I see much more active participants having fewer points than me. There must be something else behind.

@Jimerson you are definitely a computer wizard 📀💻️🖥️😎

@Jimerson very good make over and update of the forum.
Looks much lighter and more friendly.
The additional functions for mods are really good and seem to be working well.
I like that the tags are now on top it is easier and faster to spot for us if there are tags or not.
Looking forward to the additional surprises you announced.

@Jimerson Thanks for a job well done. My admiration hits top level for people that can make wonderful changes and it will still work!
