Yesterday My family and I were walking in the pasture, and mom saw these mushrooms on lots of the old poplar stumps and wondered if they might be turkey tail mushrooms.

We never did harvest these. We got busy otherwise.

My question is, can these be harvested in any other time besides fall? I haven't ventured out to see what they might look like now, and they will be under the snow. Will more form next year? Will the ones from last year be any good or even be present?
