That is really cute! This one is a yearling moose about 10 foot outside my front door.
-
Wow! The moose and the snow! Cute mouse too.
This is a swallowtail butterfly caterpillar eating my fennel. I had 6 of them and I let them eat my fennel. They're such beautiful butterflies!!
-
Both cute images. They made me smile!~ Thank you
-
@Monek Marie Thank you so much! That brightened my day!

Isn't it great how images of nature and wildlife can make help with mental state! I am horrible about taking pictures of the beautiful things that I see which is ridiculous because I work part time for a nature and wildlife photographer! I'm horrible. Anyway, here is one of HIS pictures that always lightens my spirits.

Nature and its beauty always make me smile, especially flowers!
-
@Lisa K Absolutely stunning. I just love all the color! Thank you
-
@Monek Marie you are very welcome, so glad you like them 😀
-
Oh, I love him! That's adorable. It's been a long week so thank you for sharing that. It really brightened my day :).

I find that paintings of nature also raise my spirits.

My husband and I often go off-roading, least that’s what we tell our friends. It is really just a long slow drive through nature where we forage for edible plants and find the beauty in nature. We often stop and I take pictures of things we find along the way. Off-roading sounds so much more manly to his male friends lol, but here are some of the things we have found.

Beautiful pictures everyone. Denise, the mouse one is cute, but I just have a problem fully enjoying any mouse picture. Now, if it was a chick, I'd have no issue! lol
Here is my first quail chick just a couple days ago. They are now on day 3 of the hatch. This little one was all by itself, but would follow either of the little pocket dolls around if we "walked" either around the edge of the incubator. It was especially fond of the little judo girl, somehow not so much the farmer boy. I suspect because it doesn't know that farmer boys carry feed in those buckets!
It always amazes me how tiny those chicks really are.

Yes, @LaurieLovesLearning those quail are so tiny.
I sure have enjoyed looking at these photos. It's like sitting at your home and taking a vacation~

pancake mushroom
-
@Monek Marie that is so cool! I have not seen that mushroom before.
-
@Lisa K I had never seen one like that either. There were about 12 in a semi circle. So bright and they really stood out.
Isn't nature amazing
-
@Monek Marie I totally agree, nature is amazing and beautiful.
-
I enjoyed all of the pictures posted---some made me smile and others were so amazing. I am including a couple of pictures that my son took a week ago hiking in Utah. Rainbows always make me smile!
-
Here is another picture from Utah that isn't quite as dramatic. Nonetheless, I got excited seeing this Yellow-Backed Spiny Lizard in my backyard.
-
Love all the patterns going opn in the photo too!
-
You must have an artist's eye because I had thought I should trim the photo to remove all those patterns.
Now that you mention it, the lizard is kind of camouflaged in that setting.
