Coleus - so easy to root
I was thinking - I always root coleus on my kitchen windowsill (just like my grandma used to do) and it is so prolific. I can make so many plants from just one - can these be used medicinally?
I found this info on webed:
I thought it was quite interesting.

Coleus is exceptionally easy to root. Its a great plant to try rooting for the first time. Did you grandmother root in water or soil @monica197
It also starts easily from seed and grows well in lower lighting conditions. I just love this plant and was happy to hear of all its other uses, besides being "pretty."

I can tell you that coleus does far more than web MD says.... eat 10 leaves or so and let us know how you feel in an hour.... it is a very useful herb!

@Monek Marie She always rooted in water - I fondly remember all the little jars of rooting things on the sill in the kitchen - not sure she ever really intended to plant them but they sure did root for her!
@judsoncarroll4 So how would one feel in an hour after eating 10 leaves?

Very, very mellow....

Have you tried this? Are there side effects? Would you say it is similar to the way one would use Ashwagandha?
