@Mary Linda Bittle, West Plains, Missouri Hypothermia is not something that I ever want to see nor experience. I have heard way too many stories.
I have had a touch of frostbite on 2 of my fingertips from skiing when I was a teen. I remember them being quite white & numb when I took my glove/mitt off. I do have an ongoing lack of full sensitivity in them even today.
