Free Wood Mulch

I can't make use of this service where I live. It is based out of Oregon, but has a network North America wide.

I have used ChipDrop. I have a great experience with them. I definitely recommend it to anyone that needs a lot of woodchips. Please pay attention to that part. You must take a whole load. They won't deliver small amounts.

On that note, you could connect with other gardeners in the area about sharing.

Another note, don't be deceived by the name. You don't have to take the wood in chip form. For those people with wood burners, they will deliver logs also. You would have to split them yourselves, but it is free wood delivered if you have the ability to split your own.

Such a lot really good information. Thank you for sharing.

@LaurieLovesLearning wish we had something like that here. It seems these days everyone wants their wood chips or the arborists charge big time for a load delivered. I’ve always thought I’d contact some local arborists/chippers to see if they needed a dump site, as we have the space. Maybe now I’ll make those calls!
