Great article. I'm familiar with grounding/earthing and it's benefits. There are several products you can buy to ground you while you're indoors. Curious if anyone has tried any and if they've noticed a difference.

@annbeck62 my husband tried the Earthing mat. He said he felt increasingly dehydrated, taut skin, worse than he'd ever had before. I think our house had some electrical issues - and that in the right house, it would have worked well for him. Later, I listened to some videos by Dr Laura Koniver, intuition-physician, and think I'd like to try one of her shielded grounding cables. They protect people from anything coming up the wire from the grounding plug.

@csinclair461 thanks. The products I've seen online are not cheap so I appreciate the feedback.

@annbeck62 I posted the link to the origninal free video. There is so much info there including what the man who founded this did for his mother, and then himself. The things he used was a pad that fit the length of the bed, a cord, and a metal attachment he put under the window opening and put into the ground.

The best way to ground yourself is to walk barefoot. And/or to sit on the ground with your bare feet touching the ground, and lean back and put your hands on the ground.

The fun part is at least 2 fold: First just the joy of going barefoot in the warmth of the sun...and so on. The second part is how quick many people noticed an improvement in what ever was bothering/making them sick.

Here is the link to the youtube video:

@silvertipgrizz as far as bare feet and enjoying the experience, is there a suggested time period? I couldn’t find anything in that regard in the article. I always wear boots outside, for protection. I’m also a bit of a “tender foot” but certainly willing to give natural grounding a go. A friend of mine always said her Nan used to say she preferred her grandchildren to play barefoot in her yard, as it kept them healthy & strong!

@JodieDownUnder watch the vid and it will answer more questions than you thought poss:

There is so much info here I hope eveyone watches it. In the later part of the movie the man who was dying so took off walking, finally barefoot and realized it made him feel so much better...anyway he consults a doctor and the rest is history...

Watch it with your family and you will be amazed! You will also see how to ground with your feet which I think will answer your question.

Wow what great information. It makes so much sense. I also usually have something on my feet when walking outside. I have damage to some tendons in my ankle. My doctor says that I should never walk without shoes that offer a lot of support. I can definitely make time to sit in the dirt/grass with my shoes off if that works just as well.

@Michelle D Watch the movie..the link is in the vid just above yours...the man who started this was diagnosed to die..he sold everything and starting walking...later on he consults a doctor with what he has learned..that exploded more info..There is great depth and truth to this....just think, a world without pharmaceuticals, and full of healthy people. Watch it if you can, and before you put your feet to the ground so you understand it..otherwise if you don't and for example, don't make good contact, or whatever, and if then you are disappointed and walk away from the knowledge....you won't be sorry. Also there is a book writen regarding this, by the old man who thought he was dying because of a diagnosis..it's on Amz..Earthing, the most important health discovery ever' .. authors: clinton ober, stephen t Sinatra, M.D. and Martin Zucker. In the appendix, you get "the physics of earthing, simplified".. check it out

@silvertipgrizz I will definitely try to make time to watch it. I usually get a bit of time to study while the toddlers are napping. If all goes well I will watch it during that time today. Thank you!

@annbeck62 that was my concern with them, they aren't cheap. There are tools available that help you test if a mat is working right, if I invest in another mat, I will be getting that tool as well.

I’m a huge fan of grounding. I have witnessed first hand how different I feel after doing this regularly. It effects everything from my blood pressure to just overall wellness. From what I understand, studies show that it even effects your molecular structure. It’s amazing!
