2021 12 13 Marjory Personal Update - what I do pre and post surgery
I shot this just after a recent surgery so I don't look that good 😉
Ugh, I've gained so much weight from Thanksgiving!
And I apologize the sound is a bit off. I was experimenting with a new video setup which I'm not going to use again.
I have been having a series of dental surgeries to rebuild my jaw and teeth and I thought I would show you how I integrate the best of wholistic and conventional medicine, and the really great interactions I have with the dental clinic I found.

@Marjory Wildcraft looks like you’re well on your way to a speedy recovery. I was lucky enough to find a great holistic dentist. In the last 3 yrs, I’ve gotten rid of my amalgam fillings, had some crowns done and had a “ mouth guard” made to stop me grinding my teeth at night! I had no idea, my dentist said the way I was going, I wouldn’t have many teeth left & yep it’s so important. As you said more nourishment if you want to live a long healthy life. So I’ve been “wearing” this guard, top & bottom for nearly 12 months now and gotta say the benefits are amazing. Not only are my teeth in better shape but I breathe better, therefore sleep better. I’ve started massaging my jaw muscles with St Johns Wort salve every night as I go to bed to help relax my jaw, I think it helps, it could help your situation too. All the best for Christmas 🎄

When you have had cancer in some part of your body and even though you have been in remission for years you have been told what ever you do don't do this that and the other.
I have always felt that I didn't want to have to have anything else done with my teeth as far as surgery goes. I try to eat health and I go to great lengths to research the things I eat. I am sleeping better. I have lost weight this year and I can tell the difference in my joints.
I appreciateC@Marjory Wildcraft comments about dentistry and eating well and staying healthy!

Wishing you @Marjory a very speedy recovery and a very Merry Christmas!

Oh @JodieDownUnder ! Thanks for reminding me. The most important benefit which I totally biffed on mentioning is the increased airway and better breathing. If you saw the "True Wealth" program - or whatever we are calling it now LOL - in the Academy you'll know I talk about how your breathing is the best indicator of your personal longevity.
Yes, it has astonished me how incredable it is to get your TMJ alignment improved.

Wow, I thought I had it rough when I had periodontal disease and had to have it treated and got some bone grafting done. Several years previously, I had chosen to have all my amalgam filings removed by a local holistic dentist. I still probably need some things done. I know I clench my teeth, and probably need a mouth guard. But such things are expensive and I am retired and have a somewhat limited income. I've spent a lot out of pocket for my dental care. Also, my dental insurance has never paid any of my claims. That is where I feel particularly victimized.

Hi @marjstratton You know, here is a bit of advice I wish I had listened to about 30 years ago from a dentist. If you clench your teeth (night grinding) and can't afford the orthodic the dentist can make for you, simply get one of those moldable athletic mouth guards. The dentist told me what it does is a pattern interupt - and its a softer padding between your teeth (especially the molars). That combination is tremendously helpful. I have definitely been a clencher for most of my life 😉. And for quite a while I did use one of those athletic mouth guards and it helped a lot. I ended up buying several of them until I could mold one I really liked. But it was super cost effective.
Yes, dentistry is super expensive. I should have probably considered trying to find connections in Mexico. I sure there are some great clinics there. I just didn't know, and the Universe guided me to Utah. Next time I guess I'll specify the maximum price to the Universe...

Thanks @Marjory Wildcraft for the information. I have tried athletic guards but haven't found one that I could mold to a comfortable fit. I guess I'll keep trying.
