Tea light slow cooker

@RustBeltCowgirl thank you for bringing this to our attention. It looks like an interesting project and for someone who wants a slow cooker it is very adaptable.

Thank you for sharing. Could be a big help to folks off grid or if things get bad enough that propane and other methods are not available. We just need to stock up on candles before they are in short supply too.

I really have "misgivings" about where our future is going, so I post as many of these things as I have pop up. Just another tool to add to the toolbox.

RustBeltCowgirl Exactly how I feel. Plus we live off grid in an area considered somewhat remote. There is only one road that come out to our area and once you turn off the main Hwy which runs on up through the state there is only one road in or out of our village. Many things can cut our supply lines from avalanches, rock slides or earthquakes, heavy snowfall, or fires to auto accidents, and even things like trucking strikes. Having other ways to take care of ourselves is very important.

I'm going to make one of these!

I have no doubt it would work because I made those terracotta pot heaters which only use 2 tea lights and heat up nice and hot. One can take the chill off of a small room.
