@Mary Linda Bittle, West Plains, Missouri I love cauliflower. 2 favourite ways I use it is Baked cauliflower with white sauce, served with corned beef. Or a cauliflower cake. Your recipe above looks very nice.

@Mary Linda Bittle, West Plains, Missouri Is anything wrapped in bacon healthy? 😂🤣
I personally love broccoli lol.
-
if you add enough vegetables it has to be healthy!

@Mary Linda Bittle, West Plains, Missouri oh it does taste well. We were invited by a friend to taste this bacon wrapped cauliflower. It was absolutely delicious! However I never tried to bake one myself.
-
Sounds like a beautiful recipe. I’d replace the eggs with aquafava. A delicious meal for 2022. Thanks for sharing! @Mary Linda Bittle, West Plains, Missouri

@Mary Linda Bittle, West Plains, Missouri Fair enough lol.

Alright, I stopped by an organic farm-store and bought a head of cauliflower, now all i need is bacon and the other ítems to make this delicious meal
-
That looks really good!!
I haven't made Bang Bang Cauliflower in a while. It's really good too!
-
I have been wanting to try making a cauliflower pizza crust. It sounds really different to me and I haven't had the nerve to try it yet.
-
YES!!! of course.
If it's good bacon...
-
@dipat3005 I haven't made cauliflower crust for pizza but I have had it a couple times when we went out to eat and I've also bought one to make at home for my daughter. I didn't taste the one from home but the ones I've had at pizza places taste just like regular pizza crust to me. They're crispier and burn easy around the edges but other than that I don't taste any difference. I thought about making cauliflower crust at home but figured it was easier to buy it. I read the ingredients and buy whichever has the least ingredients and only has ingredients that I know what they are.
@Marjory Wildcraft I told my husband I was going to make the bacon wrapped cauliflower and he said it was a waste of bacon! He said we should just eat the bacon and have cauliflower on the side if we have to. 😁

My husband isn't a fan of cooked veggies, he prefers raw dipped in ranch dressing. Not sure if he would go for the spinach in the recipe but maybe just the bacon wrapped cauliflower I could convince him to try. lol
-
@kbmbillups1 I did think about the Cauliflower pizza that had the ingredients I wasn't allergic too but I haven't found one yet.
-
@dipat3005 Do you have a Sprout's near you? That's where I've found them. Next time I go I'll see what brand I can find and what ingredients are. A lot of times I think I'm the only person who buys things because everything I like gets discontinued.
-
The Bang Bang cauliflower sound good but I would have to make it gluten free.
-
@marjstratton Here's a gluten free recipe-
I've made Bang Bang Cauliflower when my daughter who is gluten free has been home. I pretty sure I made a tempura batter made with Einkron flour instead of the using the recipes that call for Panko. It was really good made that way too. I think the sauce is what makes it yummy!

@kbmbillups1 apparently we only have Sprouts Farmer's Markets in Eugene. I don't know what Sprouts is?
-
@dipat3005 It's kind of like a version of Whole Food crossed with Earth Fare. They sell conventional and organic veggies, fruit, and meat but they also sell a lot of organic, plant based, gluten free, and conventional foods. I guess you'd say most are better for you processed & frozen foods. They have bins of nuts, beans, candies, oats, salt, etc where you can buy however much you want. Well, 2 we've been to have had their bins open for months but mine has had everything prepackaged until recently. It's great when a friend calls all excited because she was able to serve herself again! Maybe we're getting back to some normalcy!
