@Marjory Wildcraft thanks for the update! Believe it or not it is really the 21st of January!!! I enjoyed finding out what the CPI is because I thought it was at 8%. Bur we know it is coming. Thanks for the 2022 news and the things that are coming and those that are continuing. Looking forward to the next update.

You know, one idea the TGN team kicked around during our planning meeting was the idea of a scavenger hunt. for example: Go to the blog post on "50 ways to feed your garden" (i.e. the 50 free fertilizers post) and in the 4th paragraph, 2nd line the words will guide you to the next clue" - uh I'm just making this up... I'm sure we can get @Merin Porter to do some editing if needed, and possibly @Jimerson to pull of some tech magic.... Any one of us can create a forum thread on a topic but have a hidden clue in there. Judson could sing a song with a clue... a clue could be in a photo of a garden someone posts up in the forums.

I would be happy to toss in some prizes from the TGN store. Or maybe a TGN gift card or something like that?

We could certainly announce it in the newsletter and see who else wants to join in the fun. Oh I am getting excited about this! LOL

@Marjory Wildcraft I didn't want to start a new thread but I just wanted to thank you for starting off with Glenn Meder. That was awesome! I learned a lot and really paid attention this time. I will be putting some of those ideas in place. I know it will help me a lot.

@Marjory Wildcraft Thank you for the updates! I think for the scavenger hunt already existing posts/ pictures could be used (such as a picture of a tree could start it off, which then leads to finding the only thread that talks about it as the subject, then relate that to the title of a thread from on of the comments, etc. Links to other threads could also be utilized and the first person to find the answer on the last thread wins). What do you think?

Looking forward to see how you look like next year when you turn 60 😊. Age is a wonderful. It adds so much freedom to us! I am 62 and I love my age!

I just rejoined, moved from Arizona back to Orlando Florida, where I have two acres to play with. I am a certified square foot garden instructor, which uses 4 x4 square feet gardens , small spaces are very good for growing produce all year long.
