Grow your own Cornstarch!

Here are some recipes that tell you what types if corn can be used and how you can make diy cornstarch.
Next, I have to figure out if I can actually grow the correct corn here. It looks as though white corners preferred, but any dried corn should work.
I've got some very old popcorn here that we grew years ago. That was pushing our growing season! I was going to make cornmeal with it, but maybe I'll try cornstarch now instead.
This is essentially the same recipe, but she specifies that yellow corn can be used.
