Baker Creek Festival This Weekend

My sister got tickets for Sunday, and I am super excited to get to go. I do have to remember that I have no room for major plant purchases. There are some good speakers here, it looks like. Looking forward to the tour of the greenhouse, too!
The seeds that I bought back in February are doing well. First tomatoes that I have gotten to actually start from seed and get into the ground! I have a couple of non-Baker Creek cherry tomatoes planted, too, but the BC plants seem a little bit stronger from the start. I got Black Strawberry and Isis Candy cherry tomatoes, and some herbs and flowers, and so far I am pretty happy with them all.
I'll let you know what I "have" to bring back.

Ooo, I'm so jealous! Have fun @Linda Bittle!
Good luck not purchasing anything. I know I wouldn't have that kind will power. I'd want to buy all the things.😉

Mom, my sister and I had a great time at Baker Creek! It reminded me so much of the community events at Wilderness Awareness School, only with a distinctive Amish flavor. Lots of friendly people of all ages and way more diverse than I expected in Missouri. Lots and lots of well behaved children. Lots of good food and beverages. I enjoyed the elderberry lemonade, sweetened with monk fruit. Mom thought it was too sour and preferred the strawberry lemonade.
Mostly we sat on hay bales and enjoyed the rotating folk music groups under the big three sided shed.
It's been cool and rainy this spring, so most of the plants are only now just getting a good start. We didn't want flowers, due to limited space, and I have way too many cherry tomato plants already, so none of us came home with plants. Here we are, enjoying a great Mother's Day!

Glad you had a great time @Linda Bittle. Sounds like you had a great mother's day.😊

Our local Master Gardeners just had their plant sale this last weekend. One whole building at the fairgrounds was devoted to tomatoes. Another building had everything else: veggies, herbs, native plants, flowers. There was also a variety of vendors for plants, tools, and yard art. It was a fun day.

Wow, no room for flowers! That is shocking😲, I seem to be able to will more space into my gardens- just keep getting more and more plants to tuck in somewhere.
That festival sounds like it was fun. I'll have to check it out next year. It's a bit of a drive from middle TN.

@nicksamanda11 It's lots of fun. Check the website before you start out because they did have a limited number of tickets!
My little patio garden is only about 12 x 12 foot, and I can't get out of "my" space. Photo from early last summer.
