Candied Spruce Tips
This is part of spring foraging but I thought it deserved its own discussion.
I got these Tik Tok links in an e-mail this morning from Wild Rose College (you don't have to be logged in to Tik Tok to view them).

I think I will try this with spruce tips that I infuse in honey to make a cough syrup.

Easy peasy. Thanks, @torey. We will try to remember to try this out.

I've had spruce tips brewed as tea, and sugar infused spruce tips ( tips then powdered and returned to the sugar) which were fabulous in tea and sprinkled on shortbread cookies. This recipe looks right, and I might even go 1:2 parts tips/sugar.

@torey Thanks for these links, I had never tried spruce tips, now I'm excited and can't wait for my spruce tip adventure!

@Linda Bittle Thanks for this link. I think my family will enjoy trying this sugar!
