Well, I have broken my foot

Minor fracture of a small bone.... not fun though. Not fun at all.

Be careful @judsoncarroll4 those tiny bones can take a long time to heal. Hubby fractured the back end of his pinky toe bone by stepping down wrong out of the shower. Needless to say he was off of his feet for weeks trying to get that thing to heal. We ended up with a bone stimulator to get it fixed.

Wow, that is really surprising! THanks for the advice

My husband broke his foot a few years ago. He started taking astaxanthin and his foot was healed in a month- doctor was blown away.
-
Oh No! Hopefully your comfrey is coming up about now. Be careful and prayers for rapid and complete healing.
-
I'll pray for a quick recovery. Take it easy if you can. Foot injuries can be awful.
-
Why is it that those tiny fractures take so long to heal and hurt so much? No, not fun at all.
-
Sorry to hear this, Judson. I hope you have everything you need to help this heal, although I'm sure you have an excellent apothecary stockpiled.
Gives you more time to sit with your foot up, writing more books. :)
-
Thanks for all the kind words and support, y'all!
-
Be safe and rest often....Oh @judsoncarroll4 Which foot? And which small bone?
-
I never could remember all the names of all the bones... it is the one between the main knuckle of the pinky to and the big joint int he middle of the foot.
-
Heal quickly!~
-
Hope you heal quickly!!!
-
I can commiserate with you I stubbed the middle toe on my right foot (dominate). It is a trial to be sure! I hope you heal quickly.
I wonder if an Epsom Salts bath would help my toe?
-
I hope you heal quickly!
-
@judsoncarroll4 interested to know what you’ve taken, internally & externally for this nasty little injury? Speedy recovery🙂
-
Hope you feel better soon! I know how terrible breaking your foot can be by way of my daughter. She fractured the top of hers while playing volleyball. One of the girls on the other side went under the net and landed on my daughter's foot. She spent several weeks in a cast and lots of PT.
-
@judsoncarroll4 Oh no! Wishing you a Speedy Recovery!
-
@judsoncarroll4 Once you are healed, I recommend that you do foot exercises. I did not do enough after my bunion surgery and I think I set myself up for long term problems. Nowadays, certain movements will put my foot into a cramp.
-
Will do - thanks!
-
Feel better @judsoncarroll4! I had a family member brake one foot and then the other 2 months later before the other one had healed. Definitely not fun 🙃
-
Sorry to hear about this. Wishing you a speedy recovery!
-
Oh no! I hope it feels 100% better super soon!
-
This is such a supportive community - honestly, I'm overwhelmed!
-
@judsoncarroll4 have you been using a comfrey poultice? Or, ......?
-
Yipes! Take care. Never have broken anything in my feet, but I certainly have enough pain in my feet anyway.
-
So sorry to hear this. 😥 Prayers that you heal soon. 🙏
