Wooly Aphids Any Experience With Them

Another pest problem for me. 😢 I looked it up and am pretty sure this is a Wooly Aphid. There are spider like webs on the plant as well. I read that
they don't kill the plant but flicked several in soapy water and sprayed some neem oil solution on it. They've made a home in my pomegranate bush. Sigh...I think I'm going to try spraying it good with water to see if I knock them off if they'll fly to someone else's yard.
Anyone else ever have these? If so what did you do?

This suggestion won't do you any good right now but for the future if you have a lovage plant in your garden it will act as a trap crop for aphids.
