Tomorrow I am finally going to begin something I have been intending to do all year... learn to tap dance. As I have said before, I am opting out of 2022 and living as if it is 1922!

Yes, foot is good... shoulder 90% healed. 2nd degree burns are drying in... it has been a challenging spring!

That sounds like fun! Not the same but I enjoy watching the cloggers when we go to craft fairs.

Actually, it is very much the same. A very good argument can be made that the Isish invented tap dancing, when wooden clog shoes were made for early factory workers. Tap is basically the mix of Irish and African dancing.

Well, I do have to make some exceptions for technology.... but I mostly reject modernity in terms of lifestyle and philosophy.

I find the majority of people spend much of their mental energy and time focusing on interpersonal conflicts. I opt out and have more time to focus on other things.

We'll see... I can't dance, at all - never learned how. The "tree falling" reference is in regard to being 6'4" and expecting to trip and fall quite a bit.

I too hate the repetitive feeling of exercise, but love to dance. I shall give this a try. I won't be surprised if I fall on my face a few times!
