I think that the corn cob broth is an interesting idea.

I will be using the idea for steaming fresh fish. I think it would also work for grilling the fish so that it doesn't fall through into the charcoal. It is always nice to find ways to avoid using aluminum foil.

I absolutely LOVE tamales! I posted a recipe for green corn tamales a while back. I'll see if I can find it. Yeah, here it is, but I didn't call them that. I just described using creamed corn.

I also had a post on sour corn

If you have a problem with squirrels getting into your garden, bird feeders, or other outdoor things that could be seen as a food source, hang corn cobs on strings nearby. A friend of mine has done this and it greatly reduced the amount of squirrel damage done to her bird feeder.

Remember you can always make corn silk tea. I dried the corn silk in the dehydrator and then canned it and it lasted for many years. I used it for bladder problems and UTI's.

I've seen a video where a lady takes the corn husks and braids them into all sorts of things cushions, rugs, baskets, and shoes. Some of the items she had to handsew after making the braid and then forming it but it was amazing to watch.
In this video, she makes many things. The items made from the corn husks start at 8:40.
I really enjoy watching her videos. They are so relaxing to me. I hope you all enjoy viewing it as well.☺️
