Out for a few days

I am having Yag surgeries today so I will be out for a few days. My eyes have to be dilated and most people can tolerate that. Of course I have a terrible reaction to that stuff. It is just one of those things that I tolerate.

I am much slower than I thought although I called and scheduled an appointment for an eye exam without dilation. I am so allergic!

I got the same person that I talked to before (my daughter) because she had already called my insurance. This prescription in my glasses has never been the best. I will be able to get their top person because he does work with the glaucoma people. So I am grateful.

@dipat2005 will you still need glasses when you are all finished with your recovery?

@Michelle D I believe so. The ones I have now are progressive. Just yesterday I noticed my right eyelid was swollen. I believe this is the third day. I see no redness in the eye, no stye and the eyelid is less swollen today. I am going to use a cool pack on my eye this evening to see if it helps the eyelid. There is no pus so that is good too. My right eye is a little more blurry today than yesterday.

@vickeym thanks a bunch. I am still wearing dark glasses. Have an appointment to get new lenses and I hope that will help the most. May not have enough money quite yet but my insurance will pick up a bit.
