Our turkey day is a Christmas Day. But turkeys are so expensive nowadays that we might think of something else.

I just got this picture from a friend - a turkey in poor times 😊. Well, the picture says it is a goose, but it would work for turkey as well.

My favorite is a simple salt water brine, then smoked over hardwood coals at a low temp for 5-8 hours. I LOVE cranberry sauce!
