You know you are old and not hip when …

There is a business that I have passed many times called the Urban Leaf, every time I passed it I thought of either stopping by or checking it out online – I love tea!

Then I noticed it was not in a retail area, very little people in the parking lot and one day I saw what looked like a Security Guard. The next night I went by I took a good look at the logo which was a leaf in a diamond, it then dawned on me and I looked it up to verify that it is a cannabis dispensary.

Glad I look it up before stopping by … 😁

A lot of them around here have names that would make you believe it is gardening related also. That is too funny.

I have long figured out that I am old and not hip from thinking some businesses were something else entirely! For example----Barkers Lounge----didn't realize it was a place for dogs! lol And no, I didn't stop to check it out..LOL

@water2world hahaha, I would have thought Barkers Lounge was a place to get lounge chairs! I once saw part of a sign "skets" and I thought it was for baskets until a could see the entire sign and it actually read "Caskets". I found that eyesight also starts to go when you get older, hahahaha.

Urban Leaf is a pretty popular name for a variety of businesses as well as cannabis sales, including a business that sells nothing else besides cannabis packaging supplies; Urban Leaf Packaging. There are Urban Leaf cannabis stores in Canada, too, and one franchise called URBN Leaf.

There's the Urban Leaf Tea Company in Tennessee. And an Urban Leaf Cafe in New Jersey.

There is an Urban Leaf micorgreens grow kit.
