Merry Christmas everyone! By the way, our two cats did not show any wish to climb our Christmas tree. But that is not the end of the season, so who knows…

@judsoncarroll4 Thank you, dear one, that was beautifully written. This has been the worst Christmas of my life, my father put on a ventilator at ICU, I alone Christmas Day with complications from a test surgery that gave so much pain where it already hurts. Yet some of my nieces just left here and really helped liven things up. And I was able to watch enough healing herb videos here that I was able to find a cough syrup that is making me be able to breath deeply again — first time in months, maybe years! Hopefully I can give some to my father in the hospital. —Christina

I grew up in an ICU... my grandfather on a ventilator with ALS. I understand.

Thankyou @judsoncarroll4. I am thankful that my family is safe from all the ferocious weather that we are experiencing in our area. Visited my sister and her boyfriend on Christmas. The next day, she lost her power for over 12 hours. Glad she still has her wood stove. She finally got her power back on.

A little late but thank you and Merry Christmas to you and yours as well. We are lucky, the four foot of snow that was predicted ended up only being two feet and since we are off grid, when others lost power it did not affect us. Stayed at-20 or so for a couple weeks or so and the one warm day we got in the middle somewhere was very windy. But that was fairly minor compared to what others have or are dealing with.
