I found this on Next Door this morning. There was a conversation about home gardens and this link has inspired some gardeners in our area. In this area in the Pacific Northwest we even have an agricultural University campus and they are offering seeds and other things for starting a garden.

How nice. More colleges or other businesses need to offer programs like this

I have taken an online master gardener class from OSU. It wasn't a certification program, but it was interesting. In my area WSU has a research extension program which puts on some great educational events. Also, not related to any university programs is a program called Lawns to Lettuce which offers a lot of gardening tips and classes and (in the past) they gave away vegetable seeds to encourage gardening.

@marjstratton I have always wanted to take a master gardener course but have never done it. We have an OSU extension service in the city near me.

A lady in my garden club, told us about the OSU class at the beginning of the pandemic. It was a short introductory version of their full program and it was free at that time.
