Herbs for Shingles

Good article @LaurieLovesLearning. Lemon balm tea is one of the things that I would suggest as well.
St. John's wort is another herb that is highly recommended for the pain of shingles. During and after. Sometimes there will be residual pain, even after the rash and blisters are healed and St. John's wort is good for that.
There are some recipes closer to the bottom of the page (in the link you provided). One is a salve recipe that includes St. John's wort with comfrey and plantain that I think would be very soothing and healing to the actual blisters.
