Anyone into basket weaving?

I am thinking about turning some of the vines on my property into baskets. I really like the British style willow baskets and the Cherokee/Appalachian honeysuckle baskets... etc - old style, useful baskets. Can anyone recommend a good book or two that might get me started?

I have thought of doing the same thing! I would also try YouTube, that way you can watch the technique.

I watched a video using blackberry vines to make a basket which was really neat. Basket making looks fun!

i wasn't very good at willow baskets. My cedar bark basket is nice, and I like to make pine needle baskets, but that's not really weaving. I will look for my pictures.
