Facebook is not a place that I would normally turn to for tips, but lately it has had some interesting/fun tips. Here is one I saw this morning.

Sounds like it makes sense. I usually grow both so I should try it.

I am going to try it too, I really like using the sunflower stalks as a trellis.

Here is a link to videos on Facebook that has a lot of ideas - OfficialCreativeExplained/videos/205444705411030

Good idea! I'm going to try it maybe the caterpillars will leave my cucumbers alone and eat the sunflowers instead!!

Reminds me of three sisters gardening a bit. I love it when a plant can serve multiple purposes and when a plant group can work together as a "team" for good results!

@Lisa K I like this idea. I will try it out. My baby cucumbers are already growing nicely waiting to be planted outside.

I have trellised sunflowers with beans, but the beans did not do very well. Maybe cucumbers would be good but some of my sunflowers like to fall over every year I grow them so maybe I would have a plan to stake them up.

    That would be cool though.

@Lisa K Thanks for the link. I like this idea of using the sunflower stalks for the cucumbers to climb!

Have you ever been shopping and see beautiful watermelons but not sure if they are ripe or tasty? Well this is another tip I found on FB.

This one is good for people who can't or don't want to bend over when gardening ...
