This chart is from 2018, so a bit outdated. Which means there probably has been more consolidations...

OMG, I avoid almost all of these brands. You would have to be out of your mind to take a One-A-Day. But I was surprised at SolaRay and Pure. Dang... I used to trust them.

I still love my Standard Process.

I thought I had made it all the way around the wheel without using any of the products but one of the last that I looked at was Nature's Way. I had thought it was a Canadian company. Apparently, I should have read the fine print more closely.

This is a good reminder to not just read labels but to do more research into your favourite brands. Or better yet, make our own medicines and reduce our need for vitamin & mineral supplements by improving our diets.

@Marjory Wildcraft nettle tea, nettle tea, nettle tea, has been a game changer for me. ( I’m a poet & I don’t know it) plus a change in diet. That list must be mostly American brands because the only one that looks familiar is Centrum, which I don’t use. For supplements the brand I use is Swisse. Originally from Australia in the 60’s, it has been a tried & trusted brand but in 2015 was sold to a Chinese based company, operating out of Hong Kong! ( hope they keep the original formulations) I will do some more research.

I saw this the other day and like @Torey almost made it all the way around. Its really sad how big companies own all of these brands and we have no idea unless someone makes charts like this!

Wow, Renew Life was started locally and was know to be a very high quality brand. It is almost painful to see that the owner sold to a big corporation. On the one hand I get it, you start and build a great brand and you want to sell for as high as possible. But on the other hand, as a consumer who tries to be really careful about the products I use, it feels somewhat out of integrity.
