Don't give up!

I carved this spoon last night. It was a very knotty, twisted piece with a split in the area that would become the handle. I almost threw it away, but I think it turned out to be the prettiest spoon I've made yet. I curved the handle to work around the split, then cut out a knot at the end and reflected the design in the bowl. I think it looks kind of like a leaf.

That turned out well. I mean, after carving through those knots, it kind of looks like an elven ear. @judsoncarroll4 :)
