Why Is France on Fire?
If you weren't aware (probably because the mainstream media isn't covering it) France has been involved in massive rioting for the past 5 nights. This is way more than the usual french riots... they are starting to use guns.
What in the heck is going on?
We have to resort to citizen journalism to get truth - or close to truth. I trust Ezra of Canada's Rebel News. He and his videographer is over there right now asking questions and interviewing people to find out what is motivating all this. It doesn't look like some of the riots we've seen in the past which were orchestrated and paid for. This looks real - like real people are real upset.
And it is clearly more than a pension issue.
The cost of food is almost always the underlying reason for riots. The 'official' numbers show fairly low rates... but we all know that official doesn't mean a whole lot. LOL

@Marjory Wildcraft I saw this this morning. That level of fighting is unusual there.
It's terrible what is happening to people worldwide who never asked for any of this trouble. 😕

I saw that the rioting has spread to Belgium and Switzerland. I also so that the internet and cell service has been turned off in France. Scary what's going on around the world today.

This is important to watch, not only what the people are doing, but the Gov't response.
Update:
Summary of the fifth nights of riots in France:
- 871 fires on public roads
- 577 burned vehicles
- 74 burned buildings
- 719 people arrested
- 45 police officers and gendarmes injured
For many years the Frecnh Gov't allowed all kinds of immigrants into thier country and I am sure this is correlated to this violence now. I'm not sure what is going on in your country. Here in the US there our Gov't has funded a big program to let in a stream of immigrants into the US. There is a route up thorugh S. and Central America with maps and camps setup along the way to help people to enter the US. America was built with immigrants (my own ancestry included) and many of the people coming in probably do want to start a new life and would be good citizens. But how many of them are insurgent types being put in place to create the kind of violence we are seeing in France?

@Marjory Wildcraft They are illegally coming up here too, via the US, in droves, and in some cases funded by New York, with no real resistance from our "law enforcement."
It is always wise to watch international events & question the who, why, where, when & how, and question the information put out there.

@Marjory Wildcraft thank you for posting this. It definitely is not on the mainstream media. Since I'm not active in most social media I sometimes miss a lot.
@LaurieLovesLearning I know an American women that has lived illegally in Canada off and on for the last 15 years. She has been deported back here at least 3 times yet she still always goes back.

@Marjory Wildcraft thanks for sharing. So far I have seen nothing in the local news. Sometimes they broadcast news from other countries too.

Have not been able to trust main stream media for many years. Gave up regular TV, cable and/or satellite a long, long time ago.
I have trusted my online sources much more for almost as long.

Has all of this been part of a bigger plan to cause something bigger to happen to all of us here and where you are?
i mean, if there are route maps and camps set up in place then what is the big picture plan or planned outcome?

As much as this is an important story to watch, and these huge events need to be discussed, questioned & dissected openly by everyone, I think we need to focus on why we are on this forum.
The events mentioned above are most certainly a political movement spurred on by ideologies that are very obviously extremely destructive. It has had a very large impact on France.
The Netherlands has also had its share of huge problems, and their government has now fallen. I hope the people can form a government that is of the people of that country, not a government that has other interests. A government should always represent its constituents, not itself or others.
I would encourage those who wish to keep following this story (or the Netherlands) to continue to follow it through the alt media company listed above or others.
I like to follow the Western Standard & The CounterSignal. Both are also Canadian for those who wish to know. Both are supported fully by subscribers, so you may have to choose your free to view stories carefully if you prefer free only.
So, with that, I'll be closing this discussion thread.
