Liquid Amber buds, are they medicinal?

It’s spring here in Australia & a lot of the deciduous trees are starting to ‘bud up’ & break leaf. I’ve collected a handful of Liquid Amber buds & wondering if they have medicinal properties like poplars (cottonwoods) etc.
Can anyone help with some information please?

@JodieDownUnder , Do you know the Latin binominal for that tree? I am not familiar with it.

@Linda Bittle you might know them as sweetgums? Latin name, family-Styraciflua. I’ve just realised I’ve misspelled Liquidambar! They are stunning trees, especially in Autumn when they change colour.

It seems that all other parts are useful but I haven't found anything about using the buds.
Maybe @judsoncarroll4 has more info as they are native to the southern US.

Ditto on the buds
