I'm not sure if this is considered a vertical garden...but I think so!
I'm a big fan of the Lettuce Grow!
I've grown with it indoors and outdoors and have had great success using both methods.
I really like the LED grow light option to keep my space feeling "homesteady" during the winter months.
It's on a dolly and very easy to move around. It also has timers for the lights and water.
The best part is that I only have to fill the water tank and add nutrients about once a month, even outside in the Texas heat!

@Ruth Ann Reyes I admit, I have not heard of the Lettuce Grow system. I will definitely check this out!
Can you grow things from seeds?

I'm very interested in all of the advice that will come from this discussion. I have not done any vertical gardening but I need to learn so that I can increase my grow space.

They don't make an obvious way to do it. But, because we backyard researchers are clever... there is definitely a way!
If you start your own seedlings in a separate pot of similar size and use the right mixture of soil (so it doesn't get washed away by the falling water), then you can transfer it to the Lettuce Grow once the seedling is about 3 to 4 inches!

I think a great place to start is to determine what type of produce grows on vines that you enjoy eating! We can then figure out how we can easily grow UP given your space limitations. :)

@Ruth Ann Reyes Thanks for your answer!
When I was looking, I didn't even think of that.

I finally got a picture of my strawberries, I still have one more tier for the strawberries in the tower I am going to use for vegetables, but here is a picture of what I have so far. There are 3 varieties – the oldest is the tag you can see and it does specify a brand, then there is Sequoia and Seascape.

AMAZING!!!!!

@Ruth Ann Reyes thanks! I love the towers and apparently so does my Lemon Balm which is doing much better in the tower than the one that is in a pot which almost died back completely.
