Apple Cider Jelly
Oh my. My friends who do the cider pressing made some jelly using the spiced cider that they pressed. They just used a standard apple jelly recipe and added cinnamon, a little clove, and some cardamom to the cider.
I finally opened the jar. It's really good! Good on biscuits, and I think I will use some as a basting sauce for some baked pork chops or even ham.

Mmm...that sounds good. You have inspired me to try it. It sounds like a good way to get some healthy spices into the diet too.

I have never thought of doing a cider jelly. I've had lots of different wine jellies but this sounds like a great idea to try!
