What's your favorite convection oven?
OK, I need a small convection oven - or any kind of small oven actually. I would like it big enough to roast a chicken, but not much bigger.
I got completely overwhelmed on Amazon with all those choices, reviews, promises...
For something like this I would like to get something that is quality, feels solid, works well. You know, on the counter top for many years and not have to worry about it?
If you have one and used it for years and love it, what do you recommend?

I'm interested, too. I think I want a convection oven/air fryer combo. But the choices are many, and the reviews are all over the place.
The Breville brand (of many appliances) almost always gets great reviews, but it's pricey. I love my Instant Pot pressure cooker, but I am cautious until the reviews get more consistent.

I must live in the wrong century, maybe a time warp- I don't know what a convection oven or instant pot is-duh am I. (LOL)

I mentioned mine here:
We have a spare too...that is how much we like it. We use it daily instead of a microwave, for baking small batches of food and for baking when it is hot.
The numbers on the the dial are wearing off. I have used silver sharpie go replace those already and it is time for a redo. The oven is still working great, though. We have had it for many years now.

Hi @merlin44 it's just a small counter top oven. Much more energy efficient if you are cooking small batches. I'm not totally sure what the difference between convection ovens and air frying is, but I suspect about the same thing.

@merlin44 my daughter has had an instant pot for probably well over a year and uses it often. Everything she ever made has been delicious. I finally got a good deal on one and everything has been delicious also. The IP is a pressure cooker with several settings. My daughter is a single mom who tries hard to make nutritious food for her and the kids. It takes time to pressure up, then cooks very quickly; then pressures down. It works great for making bone broth and much more. She likes it because she can make healthy food in a short period of time. And...best part is it’s one pot so easy clean up.

Thanks for the explanations @Marjory Wildcraft and @maimover. Both sound like great kitchen helpers. (Sometimes I think I should get off this mountain more often and keep up with things better but then on second thought........LOL)
