@rainbow Thank you for posting this very balanced, practical, easily understood video. The explanation of what the virus is is clear as is the very simple way that a person can protect themselves.

As I stated before, hygiene (particularly washing with soap) is not common except in the very few colonized cities such as Hong Kong. This is direct information from my sister who lives in China and has for many years, even throughout the SARS scare. She was where SARS originated. It is not hard to understand how viruses can spread quickly there, given this fact, the compact population of this country and most of its cities and the laziness of people.

Now, if you consider people in general, we are a lazy bunch. Maybe hearing but not listening, not wearing things properly, not washing hands, going out even when sick (and then sharing with others...sick people often love to be directly in front of others, in their close space). Then there is going into/living in overpopulated areas (cities), having to fly/cruise & as a result are in tight quarters, living in apartments & going into buildings with closed air circulaion systems, touching our faces without thinking multiple times/hour (I think it is 10-20). It is no wonder these types of things spread so easily.

We can do something balanced and well thought out. Eat healthy, wash our hands & be mindful of others.

WHO stated on the news this morning that we have a very small window before this becomes a global pandemic and that window is closing very quickly.

We as a whole have got to understand we are due for a pandemic because as stated above by people have become lazy. All over the globe. When it comes to hygiene, sickness etc. We have become a society of over the counter this prescription that and on and on. We treat the symptoms not the disease/virus/bacteria etc...

As the saying goes those who forget our history are doomed to repeat it. Making a pandemic inevitable. It may not be coronavirus but it is coming sooner than later. Coronavirus definitely looks like it could very well become our pandemic.
