Comfortable Face Mask

The pony tail ties for my mask pained my ears after wearing 3 hours and found this configuration more comfortable. Here are a few tips on how to make your mask stable but more comfortable on the noggin.

  1. Cut a strap 36" long 2" wide of the same material as using for mask, iron like a three fold bias tape, and sew with a 1/8" seam. The strap might need to be longer to fit larger heads.
  2. Pin side edges of mask enclosing strap but don't pin down the strap.
  3. See pictures for how to tie to head, then adjust mask using the pins to fit your face, once adjusted to fit sew flap over but don't catch the strap. Leave strap free from stitching.
