Favourite garden tool or device
There are plenty of helpful tools and gadgets that we all keep in our shed/garden but what’s the one you keep going too make life easier? Mines a long and short version of the same tool, a 3 pronged hook or cultivator. Great for scratching the top few inches to weed and prepare the ground for direct seeding. Weeding between rows and plants and I use the long handle for pressing into the soil for row depth and spacing. Great for spreading mulch around small seedlings. What’s your fav go to device?

My husband. :) He does all the heavy work for me. He does all the seeding and he is quite OCD about getting rid of weeds. Too much sometimes as he gets some of my herbs and flowers and useful weeds. He really doesn't like volunteers that come up wherever they want. Too messy that way for him.

I love using a hori hori (Japanese for dig-dig). It is a great hand tool for digging and weeding. I misplaced mine and have really missed it.

I'm not sure if this counts, but my absolute favorite garden and all-around yard tool is my Gorilla Cart. That thing is a total beast, it dumps easily, it attaches to my riding mower when needed, and we've used it to haul everything from mulch to dirt to compost to firewood to tools to concrete to kids and more! It has really gotten so much more use than I ever expected. I plan to have one of these around forever!

For sure, we use ours nearly every day. I have a large cart and we got a garden cart for the little ones to use. :)

Did we marry the same man, by chance? 🤣

I love my 3 pronged cultivator!! But my all time favorite is the dandelion remover! Let's me harvest the entire plant really easily!!

I happily just got the Nisaku NJP650 Hori-Hori Weeding & Digging Knife, Authentic Tomita (Est. 1960) Japanese Stainless Steel, 7.25" Blade, Wood Handle; I've heard so much about it I put it on my birthday list! I also got gloves (not the leather ones because I don't use them as often) and grow lights of the right type for my grow stand. Happy happy dance dance!

My niwashi. Especially because it's left handed and nobody other than me touches it, so that it's always where I left it. That of course can be a disadvantage, too🤣

I think that my favorite garden tools are a hori hori for digging and a single finger claw for working soil close to the plants.
