A possibility of how these vaccines may roll out is written in the below article...peer pressure of the worst kind. This article is courtesy of National Geographic.

If this came about, it would certainly be discrimination with people possibly losing a lot more than just their living if they didn't comply.

I expect mandatory vaccinations or something along these lines mentioned below. It is a method that I had never even considered.

I think some of this practice of drawing everything out over a year or two as well (as the authorities like to tout) is meant to wear people down so that they are willing to grab at anything to regain their freedom from the present chaos. China is already long done with this virus & their economy is strong.

I certainly am seeing a lot of support for this sort of thing already through those who are shaming others into wearing masks. Those fully supporting vaccines are already looking forward to the fight to come and shaming already.

I am not against people wearing masks. They are just a piece of cloth (or similar). But, I am against shaming and hurting others while feeling justified and backed by authorities through doing so...setting your people against one another. That is scary and wrong and super destructive within a society.

We even had a snitch line to report those not complying with conditions during lockdown in March/April in our province. If that number still exists, you bet it will continue to be used as now masks are mandatory in my health region. People say they will report non-compliance. It could be used even more come vaccine time if it is perceived as necessary. Then, where will that end? Were we taught not to tattle as children? Also, this is starting to remind me of countries within dictatorships (thinking back to WWII). It is not just Canada...it is the US too...and so many other countries playing with fire.

It is very sad and very dangerous to have something like these things in place, no matter the reason. :(

Am I concerned? Most definitely.

OK I will try to put in my 50ct here.

A really effective vaccine is not yet available and not even close to be approved. Very optimistic approach guesstimate spring 2021.

First of all there will just not be enough vaccine once it is available to vaccine everyone. The big pharma companies simply just do not have the production capability. How would you deal with this if you just cannot get vaccination even if you want.

In Germany there might be a mandate to vaccination for health workers but otherwise there. Won't be.

I admit that I am in favor of vaccination but believe in free choice. However to get the full coverage for overall population you need to get a coverage of roughly 85% regardless if vaccinated or normally acquired immunity.

From some of the news reports I have seen, it appears there are areas that already have herd immunity because tof the number of people who have been exposed and survived the virus. Mandating the vccine for everyone is an idea that disturbs me for multiple reasons.

I just read that China has started forcing vaccinations before it has been fully tested.

First Russia, now China. There will certainly be more.

I am glad that my sister is no longer in China. So glad!

I read an interesting quote yesterday. Supposedly the German government during WWII had a saying similar to what we keep hearing from the greater medical system today (it was written in German, of course). I will have to ask my husband what it was again. This saying was confirmed by some people that we know who moved from Germany. If anyone should know if the quote is accurate, they should know.

I think that we need to be cautious and keep our eyes & ears open as we move forward.

First, I agree that they can't make it mandatory for some time as the availability just won't be there.

I question the safety of vaccines overall, otherwise the industry would not have a Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System and the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program.

I look at it this way, the pharma industry has years and years of research and development, trial and error, and fine tuning in the "regular" vaccines like MMR, chickenpox, and the seasonal flu. Yet, there are still numerous instances reported to VAERS and NVICP each year. Along comes this new virus, that we knew nothing about, and we are to believe that a safe, effective vaccine can be made for it in a matter of months? If I remember correctly, there was a special "rule" made for this vaccine that the companies making it would be held harmless for adverse events it causes? Anyone remember this?

No shot for me and my family even if we cannot participate in society without getting "the shot".

I find the possible lack of choice as to accepting the vaccine or not concerning. My state struck down a bill, allowing for declining the vaccine, based on religious beliefs. Difficult choices may be ahead.

@dottile46 I remember that too. Vaccine produces can't be held accountable, should there be adverse events caused by the vaccine.

I personally am not getting the vaccine. I don't wear a mask now because it triggers my migraines even after a few minutes of wearing them. I feel the same way, if you feel it will help you then by all means you do you but don't push it on everybody else.

@Tammy I have gotten more migraines than normal lately. I have been suspecting bad air from nearby wildfires and/or unlisted food additives. Although, I don't need to wear masks often, I will track my wearing them to headache frequency.

Thanks for helping me to identify another possible headache trigger.

I am a complicated person: a tough old bird AND a delicate flower when it comes to the headaches.

There are so many things that worry me about this vaccine especially the safety or lack there of. One discovery really set me off though. This video from Forbidden Knowledge TV and their description of it here, be for warned, this is scary! : Dr. Carrie Madej is an Internal Medicine Specialist in Georgia with 19 years in practice. She's concerned about the transhumanist agenda behind the push for the COVID vaccine and the biological, legal and spiritual ramifications of all of it.

As an example, she describes how the Moderna RNA vaccine would be administered and how it's supposed to work. It uses a "microneedle platform" developed at MIT, which looks like a band-aid and could be shipped directly to your home via Amazon or by whomever and be self-administered, which is great as far as solving the logistics of vaccinating 350 million Americans or 7.8 billion Earth humans.

These microneedles will be loaded with a hydrogel containing the vaccine, which contains a modified RNA that Dr. Madej is concerned could become a permanent part of your genome.

"This is a synthetic piece of DNA or RNA...if you look at the Supreme Court Justice ruling on synthetic DNA or genes, it can be patented and patents have owners. So, what does that mean for us? What if this gets into our genome? Does that mean Moderna or the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation or the Department of Defense - all of these people who are involved in the patents - are they somehow going to own part of our genome? It's a possibility. You need to know that."

The hydrogel would also contain the luciferase enzyme, which is bioluminescent and is used to report the transcriptional activity in cells that are transfected with a genetic construct. Why do they need that?

She says, "They want to make sure that you're vaccinated. They don't trust medical records. They don't trust you saying that you got vaccinated. They want to make sure and they want to make sure it was a successful transfection, a successful gene modification.

"So, when you get the luciferase enzyme, if you have an iPhone or special app on the iPhone, you can scan over that area and it will give a digital code, a digital imprint, a digital pattern. Something that will identify that you were vaccinated. It holds your vaccination record. It also gives you an ID a number, a bar code, a branding whatever you want to call it, a tattoo. It's all the same thing. You now become like a product...

"Hydrogel is actually an invention from DARPA, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency...they make these fantastic inventions...

"Hydrogel is nanotechnology; microscopic little robots and these little robots actually - I know it sounds crazy, it's still crazy to me but it's possible - they can disassemble, reassemble, assemble into and make different things...

"It has the ability to connect with Artificial Intelligence, so this means that a human can now connect to directly and gather information from our bodies and gather it and connect with your smartphone, with the cloud with some other smart device and once this is done, this is 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year - think about that.

"Think about how immediately that could change our privacy; immediately can change our autonomy, immediately change our freedoms. This can gather data, like your blood sugar, your oxygen, your blood pressure.

"Okay, those sound great but it also can gather many other things. It can gather, they say, your emotions, or your menstrual cycle, your activity if you've fallen, your nutrients in your body, if you took medicines, it's a potential to see if you took illicit drugs.

"It's got a potential to see almost anything that goes on in your body and all of this information is going where? That has not been addressed. Who's protecting this information? What are they using it for? This is really serious stuff, Guys! This is all being proposed to be unveiled in the next vaccine.

"The other thing to know is, with this nanotechnology-hydrogel-artificial-intelligence hookup, just like your cell phone, you can send a text message, you can send an email but also you can receive them back so that means we could receive information.

"What information would be coming back into us? Would it affect our mood? Our behavior? Would it affect how we how we think or our memories? If you haven't watched the movie, Matrix, I think you should. I think there's some truth in that movie.

"I see so many wrong things with this vaccine and I see that we are not talking about it in the major media and I see that. I feel that these companies are outright lying to us when they say they cannot affect our DNA - because by all definitions that they are using - this can affect our DNA."

Thank you all for being balanced in your posts so far. I know this is a difficult topic.

That was an interesting piece. Someone in the comments claimed that she is a real doctor...however, that is up in the air for me, since you can't fully trust random reviewers online. I am not familiar with the site given to prove her status and so can't use that as a gauge. I also have to remember that the doctor featured has a bias. I do not know what she bases that on.

I think whatever the push is behind the vaccine, and there certainly is a push, that we need to remain cautious. There is certainly money behind the push and for the winners or the race. We need to remain cautious about something that has not had years of observation (you just cannot fit this into a few months to a year), and cautious of any information that we take in from the extreme right, or left, or anywhere in between, and proceed carefully. That is part of the reason all of this push has me concerned. It feels rushed and not cautious. It is chaotic. That is when bad things happen in any situation.

I will keep the allegations from this article in mind, but won't build a house on it just yet. I need to observe more before I will completely follow any one view (as always). However, I know this vaccine is not an option for us already based on the basic actions already demonstrated/implemented and lack of full accountability through what we see presently.

I personally take vaccines but I would never get a vaccine that inserted a tracking marker or modified RNA. I also believe people should have a right not to get a vaccine if they don't want to, for whatever the reason. Never mind that I would never take a home vaccine - I would always want to be in a doctor's office to be monitored for a potential reaction, even for the "old-fashioned" vaccines that I seem to handle no problem.

I've heard on the independent news shows on the Internet that even after receiving vaccines that we would still be required in the US to wear masks. I think that would disappoint a lot of people who see the vaccine as their ticket to get out of wearing a mask.

I find the vaccine logic of some people kind of quirky (trying to be polite). They believe that they will be safe from covid if they get the vaccine, yet they would be uncomfortable around non vaccinated people. Isn't the vaccine supposed to protect them from the virus? So it shouldn't matter if people around them have chosen not to take the vaccine.

The latest information that I've seen is saying "for those who want it". The start, when the supply is still pretty low, will be 18-55 year old, healthcare personnel and essential workers. From there it will branch out little at a time as more becomes available. Hopefully it will stay that way.

    Here's my two cents...

I am not at all comfortable with any of the information the general public has (or hasn't) been given since this all started. I do not know what is true and/or what is false anymore. When I go to indoor public places I wear a mask, mostly because Minnesota has a mask mandate in place. I try to order things online when we need them because it seems safer, but mostly easier. If and when there is a vaccine, I am not at all comfortable with being an early adopter, because I don't know if there are side effects, and anything new always seems to have "bugs" that need to be worked out.

I am also sad that I feel as if I have to see every other human as a potential threat to my health. 😥

I am personally against vaccines. When I was an infant I reacted to the MMR with seizures. It terrified my mother but in the 80s it wasn't well known about the potential for serious and even deadly side effects. My husband and I had a cat we both loved very much. After his last vaccine he developed a lump on his side. The vet could offer us no explanations and he died in agony. Not long after I began to research vaccines for myself. I read multiple books, browsed scientific journals, the CDCs websites, scientific studies and watched the documentary the truth about vaccines. After hundreds of hours of research I have personally come to the conclusion that vaccines are neither safe nor effective and they never have been. I will not willingly chose to be vaccinated ever again. Even vaccines that have been through trials and testing and been on the market for years still have potential for deadly side affects as the government website VAERS can attest to. According to a french vaccine research website they say it should take 10- 15 YEARS to safely develope a vaccine. And they still have side effects. So one that has been in development for a few months? That spells disaster to me. Recent trials of covid vaccines have turned up serious health consequences for those that volunteered. And volunteers have to be in perfect health with zero underlying health concerns, and of a healthy weight. How many Americans can say they are completely healthy, yet it decimated those people. What would it do in the general population?

@marcy_northlightsfarm that is one of my concerns as well. All that is just plain scary. If all that is accurate, no telling what door we will be opening taking it. And once it is taken there is no removing it to my knowledge.

That info connected with the speed and lack of testing and that these companies are not being held accountable equals one big mistake in my book. No judging anybody that wants to take it but not me. I wear a mask in public if I am near someone if they have one on. It is a courtesy/respect thing on my part. I do the social distancing but they have been all over the place with masks I am not sure they even know. In my opinion there is no telling what they are going to do with nanobot technology in the human body and personally I am not a guinea pig.

Absolutely ridiculous and infuriating! Questionable ingredients or ANYTHING for that matter, even pristine spring water, should NEVER be mandated to enter our own bodies. This country is/has been taking a dark turn. Why do we as a people, flock to popular ideas? Why does one vaccinate themselves and their children? Have we researched it thoroughly? Popular opinion doesn't mean RIGHT, and the majority of the time that is the case! There is a very disturbing history behind vaccines and Big Pharma... moreover, the development and ingredients list has gotten severely worse. It is INSANITY!

It has become way too easy to convince Americans to jump on any old bandwagon, without us taking the time to think for ourselves. Any random guy in a white lab coat with alphabet soup on his name tag could hand us a vial of rat poison and the majority of us would immediately zombie-chug it without questioning a thing! It is mind-blowing!! This is pretty much what is happening. The entire "medical" system has been hi-jacked, starting with the college textbooks written by... guess who! When we realize this, we will stop trusting doctors blindly. Anyway... haha... I suppose I should stop ranting! =)

If it comes down to it, I have peace about going to prison for non-compliance because I 100% refuse to inject aborted baby tissue (like other vaccines, this vaccine is being developed with aborted babies as a live tissue to culture on) along with a long list of harmful toxins into my body. I will not be a guinea pig and another cog in this idiotic, delusional system. Apologies if this comment was a little too "passionate." It just sincerely worries me that many are falling victim to this degree of evil in our world. The dangers of vaccines can really get my heart pounding and pouring out, trying to help! haha... much love to all! I truly mean it all in LOVE, and I respect all views. I have not read any comments on this thread yet, aside from the original post!

@happy-trails I want to let you know that this post is not directed at you nor anyone in particular here. Everyone has their viewpoints & of course it is a passionate topic, one that I expected would be.

*I am just going to jump in here to remind everyone to respect each others views (which I see is still being respected).

We are all still learning in this time and there is a lot of pressure & stress from everywhere surrounding this situation.

Any post that gets inflammatory will be removed.*

Now, a little more on my idea of why people are so quick to follow the popular. A note...I tend to see anything popular as a red flag...a reason to question & investigate further.

The public school system, through higher learning institutions, is designed to make people follow without question/variation/deviation. Add in early influence in daycares and preschools, when children are most impressionable, to learn in the same way and be like your peers, doing, thinking & acting in the same way and you see how this can become a set & accepted way.

Bullying to conform if you are different in any way is still prevalent in spite of programs supposedly pushing that it isn't acceptable. You are to do what any in authority says, without question...even if it is wrong and if it is against what you have previously understood to be right.

Unfortunately, independent thought and actions are often discouraged & ridiculed.

I have more thoughts on this topic, but I will leave it at that.

Some may disagree with me, but I am just sharing my observations.

I agree with you. As the product of an elite college and graduate education, I can say without hesitation that the professors and administrators all live by one motto: they encourage freedom of thought, as long as you agree with their particular theory or point of view! If you don't, then they have no use for you and greatly diminish your chances of ever getting into any position where you can influence others to become more congintively independent, themselves.

I survived with my independence intact, probably due to the fact that I have such a deep, instinctive aversion to being herded. I HATE bandwagons and refuse to jump on one until I think I thoroughly understand what all the fuss is about and it's really worth supporting. Usually I find that people really haven't thought much about what they're pushing, they just let the crowd and the thought leaders do their thinking for them. One of my biggest pet peeves are the people who "walk for the cure" - and then jump into their gas-guzzling vehicles to speed off to the nearest crappy fast food restaurant to stuff themselves with meat and fried and processed food, before they go home to sit on the couch to watch stupid TV shows. But, hey! Their job was done when they crossed the finish line, and they feel so virtuous about themselves! None ever stop to think that right living is the best medicine, and right living is all about continually making the small, unglamorous, unsung and sometimes difficult choices every day, and thinking for oneself. My impression is that thinking for oneself instead of acquiescing to the herd is a general trait of most of the people on this forum - or we wouldn't be here! :-)

I think that at the beginning, applying the vaccine will have a risk dose because more time must pass to be able to evaluate the possible damage or sequelae that it may have on the organisms. If when you get "naturally" from covid, you don't know the reactions that a particular person will have, you don't know what you might have when vaccinated.
