Show 14: An interview with Marjory Wildcraft
This is a great interview with Marjory and is a great way to tell your friends and family about The Grow Network and why what we do here is important - please share with your contacts and on any social media you use. Thanks!
In this very special episode, I interview Marjory Wildcraft. Marjory is a best selling author and founder of The Grow Network (https://thegrownetwork.com/). We discuss herbal medicine, of course... and her new book, but also potential supply chain disruptions, economic collapse and why it is so important to grow your own food and make your own medicine. You need to listen to this one! And, go to https://southernappalachianherbs.blogspot.com/ for FREE Herbal Medicine Classes

Great interview. Thank you both!~
I totally agree with so called "growing Zones" and bio regions.
Living at the base of the appalachian mountains and by a large creek my growing zone and living conditona are totally differnt from my brother who only lives three miles away but on top of one of our mini hills (mountains to most but a hill here ;) ) Its challenging helping people grow and even knowing what crops will take some of the widespread temperature changes we can have here.
I have learned in this area you practice "garden cheating"

It is the same for me. My climate is more like the Pacific Northwest than anywhere in NC, but I can drive through 3 USDA hardiness zones within 30 minutes in any direction!

@judsoncarroll4 It makes gardening a new adventure every day and teaching people to garden in this area I have to look at where they live first before I give any advice or help them set up

I am going to close this thread as we have a parallel one happening. That one was started by Marjory, and since this is her site, she is winning out this time. 😉😆
Here is a link to that thread. I will also include a link to the comments already made here.
