Cardiovascular Docuseries General Recommendations
I've spent a lot of time in the past few weeks learning about cardiovascular health via the Cardiovascular Docuseries and my extensive notes on that series. Here is a distillation of the most helpful general information.
Top 12 General Take-Aways (for specifics, see tables and notes)
1. Use lifestyle instead of medication for cardiovascular issues; if taking meds, work on health and see if can taper off with doctor’s guidance
2. Drink lots of water.
3. Take good care of your teeth and try to avoid root canals.
4. Eat dark green leafies daily.
5. Learn to enjoy essential oils.
6. Move more. If sitting, move at least 5 min/hour.
7. Minimize stress (pray, forgive, laugh, meditate, give thanks, educate self about health issues, relax, breathe well, have a proper attitude, and live a life of purpose).
8. Find organic sources for milk, eggs, meat.
9. Sleep well, and if sleep is poor, learn to slow down life, breathe deeply, and meditate.
10. Avoid constipation and cleanse first gut, then liver, then bacteria and organisms, then heavy metals, in that order.

(If anyone wants more info, I can send you my complete typed up notes; the document is 41 pages long so we would have to figure out how to send it because I don't know how much the messaging system here can take.)

You are welcome, @tomandcara! I am glad they can be of use to you. 😊

Great info @Annie Kate this is pretty much the solution for everything. I would only add you really need to grow your won food to get the nutrient density.
BTW, you can attach a document to a post by clicking on the little paper clip icon in the bottom left of the post area. Here is a screen shot of it. Try it!

Good summary of the Cardiovascular docuseries. I rarely manage to watch everything in a series, but I made sure that I watched this one in its entirety. Both my husband and I have had heart problems from time to time.
-
Thank you @Marjory Wildcraft. Yes, growing your own is key, I think, which is why I do it.
-
I hope that the summary has enough reminders to help you stay on track, @marjstratton. I have heart issues, too, though I am slender. I think it may have something to do with my fatigue issues, but each of the points for heart health is also good for fatigue, and I credit these practices for getting me healthy enough to function again and even to garden. :)
-
@Annie Kate my husband and I are both slender too. But in spite of that my husband has had a couple of heart attacks. His doctor keeps insisting on lowering his cholesterol to dangerously low levels. He can't heal from the smallest wounds and he has bad memory problems when his cholesterol levels get too low.
My issue is heart arrhythmia. I can control my high blood pressure by doing some breathing exercises, but it doesn't always seem to help with the arrhythmia and tachycardia. Yes, the gardening and getting outside really helps too.
-
@Annie Kate Could you PM me with your notes? That would be awesome. Thanks in advance.
-
Yes, @torey, I tried @Marjory Wildcraft 's suggestion to send it to you. Let me know if it worked.
-
Got it @Annie Kate! Thanks!
