Mary, Mary, .......

Earlier this year, in February, I procrastinated planting my seedlings indoors. Three weeks after they should have been planted, I begrudgingly planted tomatoes and peppers. They all sprouted and grew. I put them outside in my tiny greenhouse to harden them off. The door was open during the day and shut at night. One night it got below freezing and some of the plants bit the dust. However, the rest survived and are growing very well.
The procrastination continued and I even though I love gardening and wanted a garden, (I've had one every year for ages), I just couldn't get up the drive to follow through until about mid-April. Thankfully my husband was really hung-ho about it, so thanks to him, this is now our garden, and also some pictures of our back yard sanctuary.

Wow! You are growing so much in a small space! Your strawberry patch is an inspiration!
-
Wow what a beautiful and productive garden!
-
@naomi.kohlmeier your yard and garden is a credit to you and your husband. Nice use of pots and old wheelbarrows. The strawberries are very healthy.
-
Thank you! Many of the old pots are the bottoms of worn out chicken waterers. The tops were made into hanging baskets. The wheel barrow has seen better days, and we are trying to figure out a way to keep the squash beetles away from the zucchini. Hope it works.

Thank you everyone! I'm so thankful I have a garden this year. This is the best it's ever looked.
-
Beautiful! I was kind of glad that I got started late as we had many cold (45 degrees) nights that would have set the peppers back. We even had one cold night last week. Right now, my lilies are blooming, just starting, really, but so beautiful. Strangely, an anaryllis that I planted in my garden, probably a decade or more ago, blossomed last week. It had not had flowers in years. I figured it had died.
-
How lovely that your amaryllis bloomed! I love when a dormant bulb decides to grow and bloom.

Beautiful garden. I didn't procrastinate as much as usual, but it still feels like I'm behind. Need to get out there and get some more beds dug and seeds planted.
