Calming Nerves after UV exposure
I was wondering if anyone is sensitive to UV?
And if so, do you get the nerve-y tingle on your skin?
And if you do, what have you found to help with that?
Recently, I was working out in the yard with my long sleeved UV shirt on and a giant fisherman's hat and got burned THROUGH THE SHIRT (which was really quite new). I have used this brand of shirt before and was surprised that this happened.
I am contemplating investing in flood lights so that I can garden at night.

This is a link to a blog article on substances that you can take internally to help with sun exposure.
If you have a sunburn you could try cooling your skin with ACV, especially if you infuse rose petals into the vinegar.
This is a good recipe for sunburn ice cubes from LearningHerbs.
St. John's Wort is something you might try for a sunburn. It is a very good nerve agent, too, so hopefully it will calm the nerve tinglings. But it can make you a bit photosensitive so make sure you don't go out in the sun after you have slathered on the oil.
