May I introduce myself. Little Man - My Story and my friend Hippie.
Intro: My name is Little Man. I had the fortune to end up living with one who walks on two legs. My mother taught me at a young age that those who walk on two legs, also referred to as humans, could be good or evil and to watch carefully and make them earn your trust. After two months of trying to gain my trust, she…

My cat seems to have an allergy - itchy skin
My cat is overall healthy, but he is itching too much. It could be dry skin but he has episodes of this, so I am thinking it's an allergy. Does anyone have any suggestions to help? If it does not clear up I will take him to the vet, but he really does not like going to the vet.

The unexpected love affair

I could tell it could pull down my roof so my project for the next morning was Operation Rabbit Pen Rescue. This is the pen…

Preserving a whole pig without refrigeration
I'll probably get two feeder pigs this spring. Wither the electricity issues our area is having (they waited too long to do repairs so we are held together on the grid with rubber bands and duct tape) I am looking to alternative ways to keep produce and meat.…

Planning for the seasons
When I first got my chickens I put my coop and pens up in the fall. I did take into consideration sun path and wind for cold winter months but I never thought about how I put the roof up (the snow would fall off the roof and either block the door if it was an icy mess or it would take me 20 to 30 minutes to shovel it out).…
