A strange & intriguing ad... any ideas about purpose?
I just saw this local ad: "Looking for common garden weeds" which was followed by this: "Need to collect a couple of kilos of chemical free pursulane (Portulaca), Amaranth, and Chenopodium (goosefoot)." I think it would be a bit rude to ask them why they want these and so much of each. Does anyone want to venture a guess…

Silverweed
I found this plant on the edge of a parking lot a few days ago. I think next time we are in the area, I will dig a plant up & bring it home. I really dont think the business will miss a "weed." All parts are edible, but I still need to find out if it is safe for livestock & how invasive it might be (it spreads by rhizomes).

What a great resource! These are not free (nor should they be with the work that will have been put into them). Find which one suits your area. I think I will get one and continue to add any extra plants/herbs that might not be listed in my area if it is a printable calendar.

Plantain Spotted in my Yard!
I can’t believe it but this very interesting little guy showed up and I knew it was gonna be a great find!!! I feel so blessed!!! It’s right in the grass that won’t grow good because everyone walks a crossed that area... should I chance transplanting it?? I’m so excited!!
