Garlic Honey - have you heard of it?
I have heard of another great home remedy but I don't remember where I heard it from or where to find a recipe. I thought it might of been from the classes in the academy here at TGN but I checked and there is no garlic honey how-to. Have any of you out there in TGNland heard of this remedy? If so, do you have a recipe and…

Show 52: Herbs that disinfect wounds, birch trees and I no longer hold my tongue
I decided not to post the direct link to my podcast this week, because I began the show with a strongly worded statement on politics. TGN is apolitical and welcoming to all ideologies. Therefore, if you would like to listen to my podcast this week, please go directly to my blog:

Pine Cone ginger
I'm growing pine cone ginger also known as zingiber zerumbet and shampoo ginger (because you can make shampoo from it). I was researching how to make shampoo when I came across information on what powerful medicinal properties this ginger has. But the articles I found didn't go into detail about how to use it medicinally;…

Need help with extreme muscle pain
I am reaching out to the TGN group, hoping for help with my husband's problems. Over a month ago, my husband got the Johnson and Johnson COVID vaccine. He came home complaining that the shot was given too high up on his arm and his shoulder was hurting. That night he had a fever, body aches and racing pulse. Symptoms…

Ferns help keeping feet light during long trails
the weather is nice and together with our friends we went on a long hike up a mountain. After 4-5 hours one starts feeling the heaviness of the feet and then I remembered Father Johannes Künzle’s advice to put ferns into the shoes. I did, my friend as well. Believe it or not, call it placebo or not, but the feet got…

How to Make a Succus
Herbal Academy's newsletter today has this very interesting article. I hadn't thought about doing this before, and don't know why--it is so simple and obvious! It's a bit late in the season for me--most of the best candidates are past their prime now. But this is definitely on my list to try at the first good opportunity.

CBD Oil question
I have tried CBD oil (purchased from GrowNetwork) and have not found it helpful at all. I followed the instructions on the bottle for dosing. Is it me? I know some remedies just don't work for everyone but I would like to know if that is the case with CBD as well.

UCLA Archive of Healing
I was reading this article and thought I would share the resource to anyone who may be interested as well. https://archiveofhealing.com/ I like to read the old stories of healers and will probably fall down another rabbit hole with this one.
