About the Speaker:
Lori Valentine Rose, PhD, has been a college majors biology instructor at a North Central Texas community college for over 10 years. In addition, she is a holistic nutritionist, clinical herbalist, and wellness coach that created the Hill College Holistic Wellness Pathway. She also runs her own private clinic, Lori Rose Holistic, to help clients find amazing health. She guest teaches for many holistic entities, including an herbal medicine making series with the Matthew Wood Institute, blog writing for Mommypotamus and Growing Up Herbal, and an herbal formulation course series with the Grow Network! She has had the honor of studying with the best herbalists of our time including Rosalee de la Foret, KP Khalsa, Rosemary Gladstar, Paul Bergner, Jim McDonald, Juliet Blankespoor, Sam Coffman, and Kami McBride. This is her 4th Grow Network Summit Presentation. She was recently awarded the Blue Peak Community Champion Award from the Center for Children’s Health for her ongoing creation of school gardens for over a half-decade. She is a wife, mother, permaculture gardener, chicken and sheep raiser, and passionate Zumba dancer! She loves spreading love and light, and helping others feel awesome on the inside and out so they can live their dreams and make this world more awesome!
