    Try using Instant Grits - the ants will feed to Queen. and after a while she will die. And the mount will move on to get a new Queen.

    Use ash- The ash will block the ants due to the ash sticking to their feet. This keeps them from being able to make and follow trails. And it cost nothing if you have a burn pile. Once I get the ants out of my lawn I put it all around my fence line so they come back.
